Our Mission
DIY-Do It Yourself® Uganda aims to demystify TVET, make it accessible, and promote a DIY culture. It supports government programs like Skilling Uganda and the evolving secondary school curricula by National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) of Uganda.
Our Main Objective
To support the government effort to ensure that Ugandans have practical skills that enable them to created jobs, get employment or be self-employed as a means of increasing their standard of living.
Our Vission
To be the leading hub for hands-on skills training, empowering individuals with practical knowledge to foster self-reliance, innovation, and a strong DIY culture in Uganda and beyond.
OUR BACKGROUND
The DIY-Do It Yourself® Practical Skills Training Programme is an innovative initiative and a registered trademark of the Eastern and Southern Africa Capacity Building Centre (ESACBC) since 2019. The program is conducted in partnership with Nakawa Vocational Training College (NVTC) and other vocational training institutes across Uganda.
